'Gigabit Fever' Infects Mississippi As Comcast's 'WiFi Tango' Takes Google Fiber Head On

Mississippi ranks 46th on Forbes? list of best states for business, but is hoping to rank closer to first in the list of U.S. regions looking forward to imminent gigabit Internet access in their homes. A cellular company called C Spire Wireless, as part of an initiative called Fiber To The Home (FTTH) will announce the handful of cities the firm has selected to serve on November 4, with plans to roll out service in April 2014.
